Spanish and Culture Course for International Educators and Administrators

*This courses are offered for groups of 15 students or more.

Principal aim: The program is designed specifically to fulfill the needs of administrators and educators involved in international education. The goal of this program is to develop skills in the Spanish language and provide an introduction to Mexican culture, as well as knowledge of the higher education system in Mexico.

Profile of targeted students: This program is for educators, administrators and teachers in general who are involved in international education. The level of linguistic competence is not a cut-off condition, since it will be possible to enter a program designed for each specific level of Spanish as determined by the placement test.

Length of study, credits and periods when the program is available: The program lasts two weeks, with seven hours of study per day, from Monday to Friday, making a total of 66 hours. On completion of the program, students will receive 4 credits. The program is offered in SUMMER A and WINTER A.

Course description: There will be five hours per day of Spanish instruction, depending on the level of the students (beginner, intermediate or advanced). In addition, there will be eight seminars, in Spanish or Spanish with simultaneous translation into English, on Mexican culture and the higher education system in Mexico.
